We're so thankful to have had no major impacts in We're so thankful to have had no major impacts in this past weekend's storm.

Some downed trees and fences were cleaned up and put back together thanks to the hard work of our wonderful volunteers, Darrell, Rhys, Mick and Margaret.

We know many other barns around the Ottawa area weren't as fortunate and our thoughts are with them.
Have you ever wondered what we feed our horses and Have you ever wondered what we feed our horses and when? Fiona breaks it all down for this week's TidBit Tuesday.

Did you know horses will generally eat 1.5%-2.5% of their body weight in hay, which can be anywhere from 15-20lbs of hay per day?

We are back again with another TidBit Tuesday! Thi We are back again with another TidBit Tuesday! This week Fiona discusses different types of pommel attachments.

The pommel is a section located at the front of the saddle. To add extra stability, we often add an attachment the rider can to hold on to whenever they need it.

Did you know, to help riders learn where to position their hands, we use a pommel strap called “rabbit ears”?

Outdoor lessons can take place in our outdoor arena or in the old hunter ring that currently gives our riders a similar feeling to riding a trail.

Michelle is one mom who stepped up during COVID to be a sidewalker for her son, Griffin, so that he could safely continue his lessons.

The mothers of our riders have often made tremendous sacrifices, and we’re so thankful to be partners with them to ensure their children can get the support they need.
